What does Super Bowl LVI and Auto Parts have in common?

Let’s just dive right into how many people will be glued to their TV’s this weekend to watch the Los Angles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals.   They are predicting that this game will have the highest audience and bets in NFL history.  The last time this event created such an audience was in 2015 which was estimated that 114 million people watched (and was noted as the most watched show in TV history) – source CNBC

For Super Bowl LVI it is being predicated that viewing could reach around 117-120 million people (which would make it the most watched show in TV history).  Insane, right!

So, what does the Auto Parts industry have to do with this?   Well for starters, the world of auto parts and accessories is a 38-billion-dollar market – that is huge!  “Research has found that consumers are buying more car parts online than they are cosmetics or even groceries”. Like the Super Bowl, the parts and accessory audience is huge, and this too might be the biggest year in history for you to grab what you need online.  Stock levels are fluctuating quickly due to the delivery chain which are experiencing shortages of employees. Therefore, if you see something you need, and there is stock, your best bet is to grab it.  As the spring approaches, this will be the time of year that people like to work on their vehicles so the demand for parts starts to increase.  Now just might be the time to pull the trigger and get what you need.

FACT - In 1967, the first Super Bowl was held, and the Packers won over the Kansas City Chiefs, 35-10.

FACT – In the US, the best-selling car in 1967 was the Ford Cortina MK II
