"Founded in 1986, Computech was created out of necessity, and a desire to better understand how weather affects engines in racing applications. As drag racers we were frustrated by the lack of understanding how weather affects horsepower, ET and other racing variables. We knew that the better the weather got, the faster the car went, but by how much, and could it be predicted via a repeatable formula. With tons of research and development, backed by on-track proof, we created a formula that would help drag racers understand how much their car will pick up, or slow down, depending on the weather change. Computech created the drag racing ET Prediction market and has been leading the way ever since."
